Education / at-home guide
One story,
read at home.
The at-home guide is a short weekly family devotion that follows The Biggest Story, tracing the one storyline of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. Sunday school and the home walk through the same story together. Every guide the church has published is here, 64 weeks of it.
Each week's guide gives a family one chapter: the passage, a few questions to talk through at any age, and a way to pray together. Ten or fifteen minutes, once or twice in the week, is plenty. Parents do not need to be teachers; the guide carries the lesson, and the children's Sunday school classes pick up the same chapter on Sunday.
Every guide holds the same six parts: a big truth to repeat through the week, the passage to read, a verse to memorize, a short video, questions to talk through, and prayers to pray together.
- Part 1
- The Pentateuch: creation, fall, covenant, exodus. Guides 1 to 20, Genesis through Numbers.
- Part 2
- History: the land, the judges, the kings. Guides 21 to 36, Joshua through Esther.
- Part 3
- Poetry and prophets: songs, wisdom, and the promise held out. Guides 37 to 52, Job through Malachi.
- Part 4
- The Gospels: the promise kept in Christ. Guides 53 to 64, Matthew through Mark.
During the school year, while Sunday classes meet, a new guide comes out each week with the bulletin and in the church KakaoTalk. The guides rest over the winter and summer breaks, following the children's school calendar. The most recent one in this archive is guide 64, Mr. Clean, on Mark 1. The archive below runs newest first. If your family is starting the story from the beginning, begin at guide 1, And So It Begins, on Genesis 1 & 2, and follow the next link at the foot of each guide.

Discipleship begins at home.
The guide exists because parents, not programs, are a child's first teachers of the faith. Covenant worship on Sunday and the guide at home are two halves of the same conviction.
